In a series of press releases today, the European Union’s executive arm announced action against both Apple and Google. The organizers have announced that Apple will be asked to open support for other Apple accessories on the iPhone, but it may have been too late on Google for changes. The committee says that the search giant has violated the digital market law, which may lead to an exorbitant fine.
Since his return to power, Donald Trump has been against European regulations targeting American technology companies. Despite the increasing tensions and difficult conversation, the European Commission appears to be uncomfortable and does not continue to follow its most striking laws, such as the DMA. This change in European Union legislation aims to make the digital economy more just. Upon entry into force last year, the law described some large technology companies, including Apple and Google, as “gate guards” that are subject to additional scrutiny.
The most aggressive organization of large technology in Europe is the reason that IPHONE users on the continent can install applications from the third -party applications market while the rest of us are stuck with the Apple App Store. As for Google, the European Commission has made special attention to research, Android, and Chrome, all dominating its markets.

We asked Apple to comment on this development, but we haven’t heard again at the time of publication. Apple is required to make these changes, and failure to do this may lead to fines.
