Wnba Draft Confidential: GMS Scout Paige Buickers, anonymous and more guards March Madness

The 2025 WNBA draft will be titled by Paige Bueckers from Uconn, who was photographed in the best choice since she decided to practice her fifth year of eligibility. But besides the two mixes, there is a deep group of main guards, scorers and wings who are eager to influence the next level.

The seeds and many of their colleagues are still Draftees, including Notre Dame and NC State Duos, competing in the NCAA championship. Uconn seeks to get the first national championship since 2016 and the first construction title. With a lot leaving for its completion, the draft appears far, but the date of April 14 in New York City is close, just eight days after the national championship.

Six general managers of WNBA participated in their explicit opinions about the upcoming draft category with The Athletic before the start of the NCAA Championship. Grant their identity to allow them to speak frankly. On Wednesday, we will run another batch that includes their assessments of the front players such as Aneesah Morrow, Kiki Iriafen and Dominique Malonga.

(The players are listed in the alphabetical order. Current statistics until Monday. Star marks indicate that the player has an additional year of eligibility for the college.)

Georgia Amooor | 5-6 Guard Kentucky

19.6 PPG, 6.9 APG, 36.7 MPG

“Wonderful total basketball player. Can she do enough to be the rotating Wnba player who dates back to a second decade?”

“Georgia Awra will translate because of its ability to manage a team and put its colleagues in the easy positions to score because of its death. It will excel in the selection situations, and it is a player with a very high basketball intelligence rate.”

“It is difficult to succeed as a small small goalkeeper, so the size is only the main thing. If it can be the crazy shooter off the sal for the saliva and with the range, then it has a chance.”

“It is intermittent, and it does a lot of things (Steve) Nash. It’s very smart in terms of knowing its restrictions from the perspective.”

“There is no doubt that she is a top scorer, she can shoot, she is a game maker. Point guards are in installments. It is difficult to find.”

Paage Bokerrs* | 5-11 Guard Uconn

18.7 PPG, 4.8 APG, 63.4 TS %

“My only interest in physical beige. If she can remain in good health, I think it is a talent at the level of stars. It can play with or without the ball, which makes it of great value. It records at all three levels. It is large and long enough to survive defensively.

“Despite the fact that people always want to talk about some possible defects, (it’s)
The most trusted thing today is still in this draft. “

“Adaptation to the speed and physical of the game will determine its immediate effect.”

“A great captain. It’s incredible. She is ready, supportive and impressive, inside and outside the stadium. A key player for the privilege.”

Sonia Citron 6-1 Wing Notradam

14.2 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 38.1 3V %

“The total package player … … has three layers to register, she can defend multiple situations, and IQ for her outside the plans.”

“It is difficult not to love it in terms of what the game needs, 3 and D.”

“Very ready. It is clear that the ball is firing very well. She got the entire package. It seems that the game slowed down for it.”

“Big Fan, do not know the ceiling, you don’t know the strength of Star, but with regard to being a fruitful player in a winner team and raising your land from your team, very impressed.”

Azzi benefit* | 5-11 Uconn Guard

13.2 PPG, 1.2 SPG, 44.8 3 3 %

“She shoots well but the size of the sample is very small. I am not sure of its impact on the game outside the threat of shooting on it, and I don’t think its shooting numbers are outside the plans as well, so I am a little worried that it has a greater reputation than the actual effect.”

“Health is the first thing for Azwa. It has all the tools to be a great professional. It really returns to its health. Great fire, great cannons.”

“You can be a truly interesting supplementary player who can extend it. A possible trio and D.”

James 5-9 Guard North Carolina state

17.8 PPG, 4.9 RPG, 2.7 APG

“Really dynamic. Wonderful end. Just descend. Great defender. I think it will be a really good goalkeeper in this league for a long time.”

))

“Its ability to adapt to the defensive games plans against it when you reach this next level will decide whether or not it has been made.”

“Editorial guard and good narration, but it may need to become more physical and stronger to be able to compete at night abroad in Wnba.”

Olivia Miles* | 5-10 Guard Notradam

15.5 PPG, 5.9 APG, 40.1 3V %

“The second most dangerous choice after beige.”

“It is definitely an exceptional passerby. Its vision of the court in small spaces, as well as the full court is really really private.”

“The big fans, especially if the shooting can be in its place. I like the oscillation that it has in its game. I felt a great feeling, it has a big change in speed. I love a mixture of saliva, passes, firing it. I love its size at a point guard.

“Incredibly dynamic. One of the best scorers I have seen in many years. Sometimes, I got out of the end of the games defensively, but I think the defensive end is the place where it is still space to grow. Offensive, offensive dynamo.”

Gray gray 5-9 Guard South Carolina

9.7 PPG, 2.9 APG, 37.1 3 3 %

“A solid university player. A 3 -point theater. Does she have enough to get people and create the next level?”

“PAOPAO has the ability to reach a long distance. It has strong leadership qualities and is another high intelligence player who can distribute basketball.”

“Paopao is effective in the attack. He defends it well. You know that the children of Dawn (Staley) will come and play their role, whatever they are asked to do, regardless of its size or large amount. It really affects the game on both ends of the earth.”

Sanya River 6-1 Guard/Pavilion North Carolina state

11.8 ppg, 6.6 RPG, 3.6 APG

“The good news for her is that it can be a point guard. If you cannot shoot, it is better to play the point of point, you have the ball in your hands and you can stay a little more. Many of what you love and a lot of tools, but the amazing tools to work with it.”

“The most sporty goalkeeper in the draft, but is there a place to guard unambiguous fire in WNBA?”

“Sports is charming. Sometimes it goes beyond the scope of control a little, so they only harness it and continue to improve the choice of its foots, and the choice when you will lead, when you will shoot 3. 3.”

“A great length of the wing position and the possibility of being defending the elite with its length and sports.”

Shyanne Selers | 6-2 Wing Maryland

14.2 PPG, 4.2 APG, 41.8 3 3 %

“I love her size, and I love her sports. I got all the tools, sometimes, come in and out. Any child plays with Brenda Freiz for four years you know the ends of the earth.”

“She is a top scorer, she can likely play the thirty -three and four. Often availability is the best ability, and she had a little rock year with some of the injuries she was exposed to. But she also showed great flexibility in the ability to bounce.”

“Is it reliable or reliable with its ability to register at the next level? Questions about her current health may be dropped in the draft, and in the end what is her best position at the level of W?”

Healy van Leith 5-7 Guard Tcu

17.7 PPG, 5.5 APG, 1.2 SPG

“A harsh child with high basketball intelligence. She can record from all three levels while she is a player, in moments of clutch, you can get it in basketball and can achieve something.”

“Healy has succeeded in being a highly used player. How will her role look like when you get small windows in W? How effective is to be in limited minutes in her career, when she does not have the ball?”

“A lot of grains. I love the fire that you bring when you move to the field. You know what you will get from it every night. The question mark is still the defensive end. It will have to continue to improve. It will not be the best or fastest players.

“She helped herself this year. It shows that it can affect the game in different regions.”
