Bradley Cooper spoke about how his old friend Will Arnett helped him stick to his decision to get sober in the early 2000s.

During the conversation, the duo reflected on their friendship while Cooper looked back at a sobriety conversation he had with Ernest on his podcast. Smartless Again in 2022.
Cooper shared how Murderville The star’s friendship had an impact on his sobriety journey in 2004.
“He would risk having that difficult conversation with me that put me on the path to making a life-changing decision. It’s really Will Arnett, he’s the reason,” Cooper told the outlet.
He went on to say, “It helped that this was the man I thought I was imitating. It’s not what someone else said. It’s what the king told me.”
Commenting on the in-depth conversation the duo had on the podcast, Arnett noted: “I think it allowed us to open up and talk about our shared history, and how deep and deep those connections are.”
Cooper also recalls the early times of their friendship and how they connected, “Will was always the funniest guy in the room. The fact that he talked to me at the time made me feel great — and then we ended up living next to each other as young actors in Venice and became really good friends.”
