US President Donald Trump says he has deployed 2000 National Guard soldiers in Los Angeles to support “a very strong law and order”, after violent protests against immigration raids erupted in the second largest city in America.
His decision to summon the National Guard to overturn the authority of the California Governor Gavin New Zoom, who was called “intentionally inflammation”.
At least 118 migrants were arrested in operations throughout the city during the past week, which led to clashes when the demonstrators gathered outside the companies that were believed to be raided.
