Seven artificial food dyes were banned in West Virginia after the signing of the Governor Patrick Morris this week. The prohibition will become an effect in schools in August and more broadly in 2028. Chemicals are often found in products such as soda, breakfast, sweets and baked goods. More than 20 other states are studying a similar ban. NBC News’ Tom Costello reports.
