- The OnePlus 15 will be launched in China on October 27

We’re gradually getting more and more official information about the OnePlus 15, and we now know when the flagship phone will be launched – OnePlus has also shared another color the device will come in.
According to the official OnePlus account on Weibo (via 9to5Google), the OnePlus 15 will be fully unveiled on October 27 (alongside the OnePlus Ace 6), at 7pm China time. This takes place at 3am PT / 8am ET / 11am GMT / 10pm EST worldwide.
There is a caveat here, which is that this is the official reveal specifically for China. Although it should give us all the key specs about the phone, we won’t get a full global launch – including international pricing – until later.
Here’s what’s coming
In another official post on WeiboOnePlus also showed off the OnePlus 15 in three different colors: according to Google Translate, it’s the original Sand Dune and Absolute Black that we’ve already come to expect, as well as the new Misty Purple color.
It adds to everything we already know or think we know about this upcoming flagship phone – some of it from official announcements from OnePlus as it tries to build hype around the phone, and some of it from leaks and rumours.
It will almost certainly have a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a 165Hz display, and it looks like this screen will measure 6.78 inches from corner to corner, making it a bit smaller than the phone it will replace.
That phone is of course the OnePlus 13, which we liked a lot. By the way, there will be no OnePlus 14: OnePlus has surpassed this number, perhaps because it is considered unlucky in China.
