Waterloo Road Actress Lorraine Cheshire has died at the age of 65, according to her partner.
The late soap star’s partner, John Dixon, wrote on Facebook: “The love of my life passed away early this morning aged 46 and now my heart is broken. To the green fields beyond.”
After starting her artistic career in 1999 on the television program, PolicemenShe continued in the starring role Holby Town, Early Doors and Life on Mars.
In 2007 she joined Waterloo Road As Fleur Budgen and appeared in several episodes over the course of five years, she made a name for herself in the industry.
In recent years, she has starred in the Channel 4 series Ackley Bridge Like Lauren Bird and in successful comedies Been trolled Like Sue.
Her last project before her death was a short film entitled Incompatible Where she played the character of Pauline.
Ha Early doors Star Christine Bottomley shared a photo of a lit candle, a glass of brandy and a Coca-Cola to her Instagram Story alongside the caption: “No words today.”
Another industry friend, Anthony Crank, shared: “Just heard the horrific news that the beautiful Lauren has passed away. One of the kindest, funniest, most beautiful and wonderful souls I have ever had the privilege of knowing.”
“My heart goes out to June and everyone who knew her. This week is horrific, just hell on earth. Please give your loved ones as much stress as you can tonight. Rest in Power, Absolute Queen,” he concluded.
