Val Kilmer, who is famous for her performance at Top Gun and Batman Forever, died at the age of 65.
His daughter, Mercedes Kelmer, confirmed to the New York Times that her father had died due to pneumonia on Tuesday, April 1.
She also revealed that the legendary actor was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2014, but later recovered.
After being shown on the 1986 Top Gun, Kilmer appeared in its last appearance in the completion of the movie for the year 2023, Top Gun: MAVERICK.
He had a short time on the screen, as he was sharing a touching moment with Tom Cruise on the screen.
“I just want to say that it was somewhat emotional,” Cruz told Jimmy Kimmeel in 2023 about behaving alongside his friend again. I knew Fall for decades, and to return and play that character … he is so strong that he immediately became the character again. “
After years of common health problems, Kilmer finally opened his battle with throat cancer during an interview with him in December 2017 with The Hollywood Reporter.
His health problems became clear for the first time in January 2015, when a people spokesman told Kilmer that he was transferred to the hospital “for a possible tumor.” Soon after, he moved to Facebook to deny the presence of a tumor, saying only that he was “suffering from complications.”
