The families of the hostages that are still being held in Gaza – with already returning relatives – urged the Norwegian Committee on Monday to grant President Donald J. Trump is the Nobel Peace Prize, saying “with a deep sense of peace” that his design “made what many said is impossible” and that “last year, no greater peace leader or organization around the world has contributed.”
The families said: “From the moment of his inauguration, we brought the light in our darkest times.”
The hostage and families forum sent the message a few days before the award -winning committee announced this year on Friday.
“We write to you as families who endured an unimaginable darkness – families that are torn by families, and living every day with the suffering of empty chairs on our tables and desperate hope that our loved ones will return one day home,” says the call.
They are attributed to Trump by giving priority to hostage recovery since the beginning of his presidency, saying that “his steadfast commitment and his unusual leadership” restored 39 loved him, and for others, “the dignity of burial and closure allowed – a mercy that we were afraid that we might never receive it.” They added that “he obtained the freedom of dozens of American citizens as well as hostages in other nationalities from all over the world.”
With the plan now on the table, the hostage and hostage forum hit families with an urgent tone. The families wrote: “For the first time in months, we hope our nightmare will finally end,” the families wrote. The forum said: “We are confident that it will not rest until another hostage is brought to the house, the war ended, and peace and prosperity are restored to the people of the Middle East.”
The message puts the presentation in a broader framework: “Since January, he succeeded in mediating in decisions for many armed conflicts all over the world. Others saw intractable violence, President Trump saw an opportunity for peace. Diplomats spoke about impossibility, he achieved results.” “While many talked about peace, it has achieved it,” they wrote, adding that “its concrete results … have saved an endless life.”

Families issued a final appeal. They wrote: “We strongly urge you to give President Trump the Nobel Peace Prize because he pledged that he would not rest and will not stop until every last hostage returns to the house.” “His unprecedented achievements in the peace industry deserve this recognition.” The families said: “For our families, and for millions around the world affected by its efforts, this honor will confirm that the leadership that determines the leadership and the bold work in the service of peace is what really matters in our world.”
This acknowledgment comes amid calls to recognize Trump’s diplomacy – with the President of the World Jewish Conference Ronald S. Lauder pledged to pressure the committee if the emerging sequence was out, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he nominated Trump – where at least seven governments supported Trump Nobel’s attempt during the summer.
