Trump self-destructs: ‘There’s something wrong here’

President Donald Trump was self-destructing because “there’s something wrong here,” network host Al Sharpton said Friday on MS NOW’s “Deadline.”

“He started the week by getting reprimanded by hardline MAGA members in his coalition, like Ted Cruz, by lying about the tragic deaths of Rob Reiner and Michelle Singer Reiner. He ended by showing that he was so small and undeserving that no one would create a center like the Kennedy Center for him, so he took the name out of it and put his name there instead,” host Nicole Wallace said.

“I think when you look at the fact that, as I said, this has been a terrible week for him politically,” Sharpton said, “what that shows is that most of what he’s gone through this week is self-inflicted. It’s not like an outside force came in and did something to him. He did this. It was renamed the Kennedy Center, which everyone respects and respects because of the Kennedys and their commitment to the arts. He’s a guy who went through all the maturity earlier this week in terms of whether or not he said something about Rob Reiner’s death and he’s not going to retract it.” So you’d have to say he’s losing it politically, and perhaps even more so because it doesn’t make sense, even for a narcissist to destroy himself the way he does because he’s doing things that are completely unnecessary, completely in terms of the polls that reflect that.
