Tia Mowry is clearing the air after rumors of a “feud” with her twin sister Tamera Mowry Housley circulated.
In a recent conversation with atTia, who shared the screen with her twin sister on the hit ABC sitcom Sister sisterShe opened up about where she and Tamera are now.
“She is no longer as accessible as she used to be,” Tia told the outlet.
“I think everyone thought there was this big rift or distance, and that wasn’t the case. So, it was new to everyone, but it wasn’t new to us.”
Tia noted that “family is really important” to her and her twin sister and is always a priority.

“My sister and I made a pact that we would see each other once a week, on Sunday,” Tia said.
“Sometimes it’s just a text. But as long as we’re checking in and talking to each other, you know, that’s what we do. You know, [but] “The world doesn’t know this is what we do,” she added.
It came a year after Tia admitted on her WeTV reality show My Next Act that she “wishes” they were “still close”.
For those who don’t know, the 45-year-old identical twins’ hit sitcom ran for six seasons from 1994 to 1999.
