Crans Montana, Switzerland-Thiston Lawrence from South Africa made a ghost in his first three holes to shoot 4-ener 66 and win the European Omega Master in Switzerland on Sunday for his fifth title in the DP World tour.
Lawrence won by two of three players – Matt Wallace (67), Sami Valimaki (65) and Hasseos Hoggard (62).
Matt Fitzpatrick, who hoped to get the choice of a captain from Luke Donald on Monday to reach the Rider team in Europe alongside Hojgaard, alone in fifth place, one after 67.
Lawrence 94 settled in 94th, after a dirty start, as it was fixing a 20-foot eagle in the sixth Par-4 hole after his green driving and then made five birds at the Crans-Sur-Sierre Club.
