
The Tanner House Historical Museum will be opened at 305 CEDAR ST. In Aurora for the 2025 season on Sunday, May 18.
Tanner’s house, a house in 1857, furnished and decorated in a style in the Victorian era. Visitors to the museum are conducted in tours by employees and trained volunteer departments, according to a press statement issued by the historical Association of Aurora.
The museum will open this season on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm to September 21, according to the statement.
Acceptance is $ 5 for those who are 16 years old or $ 3 for those between the ages of 5 and 15. Children under the age of 5 and historical members are free.
Tanner House was built in 1857 for local devices dealers, William Tanner, his wife and nine children, according to the statement. The Tanner family occupied the house until 1934, and in 1936, the family donated home and property to the non -profit historical Association, which still owns and runs the house.

The annual donation of Steak Fry and Lobster BOIL, hosted by the Marmion Graduate Association, will start at 6 pm on Friday, June 6, in the Graduate Hall in Marmion, 1000 BUTTERFIELD Road in Aurora.

On Thursday, 22 May, the St. Charles Public Library will be shown, Debra Miller, who will photograph the author Laura Ingevis Wilder in a presentation entitled “All I have told is true.”

Library officials said Miller is a professional actress, singer and voice talent with more than 30 years of experience as a performance of live audiences, television and films.
