Bill Pullman first appeared in Spaceballs, a parody of star warslike Lone Star. Now, he’s set to appear in the sequel, this time alongside his son, Lewis Pullman.
His son, on the other hand, is thrilled to be working with him, saying, “We just finished, and… every day was such a ride,” the “Thunderbolts*” star said in an interview with People. “It felt like a strange simulation. I couldn’t believe my luck.”
He will appear as Starburst, a new character introduced in the series. The actor also adds: “We’ve been wanting to do this forever, and we never knew if we’d get the opportunity or not. So doing it in a movie like ‘Spaceballs 2’ was like, ‘What’s the simulation…what’s the world we’re in now?’
Meanwhile, Mel Brooks shared a video trailer for the long-awaited sequel, saying: “Thirty-eight years ago, there was only one Star Wars trilogy but since then there have been… a prequel trilogy, a sequel trilogy, a prequel to the prequel, a prequel to the sequel, countless TV shows, and a spin-off of the TV series, which is both a prequel and a sequel.” T
“But in 38 years,” she concluded before pointing to other well-known franchises, avatar harry potter, and Jurassic Park. “There has only been one ‘spaceball’ ever.” yet…”
Although the exact release date has not been announced yet, it is Space balls Part 2 will arrive in theaters in 2027.
