But there is a reason for it this is us siblings sterling k. Brown, Chrissy Metz, and parents Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia have yet to make a guest appearance on the show.
TrackerExecutive producer Elwood Reid explained the delay, saying, “[We discuss it]all the time. If I’m going to cast this kind of big name, I have to make sure I have a story.”
He added, “The show works because we’re with Colter so much and he’s such an interesting actor that he’s able to carry this heavy narrative load.” Us Weekly.
“We definitely talked about Sterling K. Brown, we talked about Mandy Moore and we talked about Milo Ventimiglia,” he said. “But until it gets really right – and matching windows in these people’s calendars is impossible.”
Reid concluded, “If I had the right story, I would do it. But I’m always opposed to just doing a cameo. We have to make a good emotional story or a fun story out of it.”
