Zahran Mamdani, as the single candidate in the New York City mayor, keeps another poll on Tuesday that the democratic candidate appears with great progress and defeated former state governor Andrew Como in a face -to -face competition.
A new survey of Maraesty Mamdani Andrew Como showed 21 points, as 45 % of the leaders said they support Mamdani and 24 % choose Como. Republican Curtis Selio received 17 % and 9 % of the backed mayor of Adams.
Those who oppose Mamdani, including President Trump, have urged to unify the race to give one candidate the best shot in defeating the candidate.
Adams thought of ending his campaign to take a job with President Trump or in the private sector, and the Daily News newspaper previously reported – although the mayor said on Monday he said he would remain in the race to the end.
“I want you to look at my records and compare them with the records of those who run,” Adams said on Monday. “I lived to what I promised that I will work hard for you. Regardless of the personal conflict that you might be, I woke up every day in the job, and I served this city well.”
In a virtual face -to -face race between Mamdani and Komo, Democratic Socialism will win ten points, 49 % to 39 %, with Komo gets the majority support between Republicans and 50 % of support between non -affiliated.
The survey also found that, among the Democrats, Mamdani got the majority support by 58 %, while Kumo got 23 % of the party.
Komo sought to attract mild and conservative voters, saying repeatedly that he hopes that the voters will not turn from the initial elections to vote.
If Adams will leak from the race, and Selia will remain in it, Mamdani will get 46 % of Cuomo potential voters ’support by 30 % and 18 % of Sliwa.
A survey of 1470 New York population was conducted over three days last week, and it has a 3.2 -point error margin.
The opinion polls that were released last week also showed Mamdani by a big difference against the rest of the field: Quinybac poll showed 22 points over the Como, and Emerson’s poll found it led by 15 %.
