The Minister of Internal Security (DHS), Christie Nom, has announced the construction of seven new miles from the border in Arizona as part of the administration’s efforts to “make America safe again.”
The Nayywan advertisement, which comes in a short video posted on her X account, is the beginning of the construction of the additional border wall along the southern border during the second Trump administration. The Ministry of National Security said in a press statement on Friday that the American Customs and Border patrol (CBP) was granted the first contracts from President Donald Trump to Granite Construction Co. For more than 70 million dollars, which will lead to seven new miles of the border wall in the Rio Grande Valley sector, according to Naim’s announcement.
“Everyone, I am here in the state of Arizona, and in this spot directly, you can see where the border wall ends,” said Naim, standing along the border. “As of today, we started 7 new miles of construction, we will continue to make America safe again.”

Trump’s ancestor, former President Joe Biden, moved on his first day in his post to stop all border walls along the border between the United States and Mexico. In late 2023, it was allowed to build about 20 miles of border barriers in South Texas to start during the Biden era, where the money was already allocated by Congress during Trump’s first administration.
Under Trump’s first state, about 458 miles of primary and secondary barriers were built, for all CBP data. This included parts of the current wall that were calm and needed to be replaced.

JD Vance Vice President said earlier this month during a visit to the borders of the United States of Mexico in Texas that he was under his belief that Trump was hoping to build a wall across every southern border at the end of his term in 2029.
“I think the president’s hope is that by the end of the period we are building the entire border wall,” Vice President told reporters during a press conference.
“Of course, this is the material structure-the border wall itself-but until we heard today, there are many good technological tools, and many technologies that support artificial intelligence” can also be used to secure borders.

The number of successful illegal crossings, or the number of successful illegal crossings, which are recorded using cameras and other monitoring methods, has decreased to 90 % since Trump took office, according to some estimates based on the numbers reported by Bill Milliosin in Fox News last week.
According to the numbers reported by Melguin, border customers have discovered an average of 77 “Gotaways” per day, while during the peak of the immigration crisis during the Biden era, this number reached 1,800 a day, according to reports.
