As RedState reported, a group of anti-asylum protesters crossed the red line on Sunday, storming into and occupying a church in Minnesota. Supposed journalist Don Lemon was part of the chaos, where allegations that a priest worked for ICE were used as justification for the attack.

The scene was part of an ever-escalating war against Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which has increased its operations in Minneapolis and surrounding areas due to a complete lack of cooperation by state and local authorities. Despite targeting illegal immigrants who have allegedly committed heinous crimes, including sex crimes against children, left-wing activists have taken to the streets to obstruct, obstruct, and assault federal agents.
The church is not the streets, though. It is a privately owned house of worship, and activists have no right to invade and occupy it, no matter how muddled their motives. But while Minnesota authorities are unlikely to take any serious action, the federal government is a different story. Justice Department Civil Rights Division Chief Harmeet Dhillon has already stated that they will use the FACE Act to prosecute these instigators.

Don’t get me wrong, the FACE Act is garbage, and has previously been used to prosecute pro-life activists simply for standing outside abortion clinics, but it is currently the law. Unless the Supreme Court changes that one day, the Trump administration must use all the tools at its disposal.
That’s what makes protest leader Nikema Levy Armstrong’s action after the church attack so unbelievable, and not in a good way for her. Instead of maintaining some denial, she actually posted everyone involved in the attack on Facebook and admitted why they invaded it.

One of those listed is Don Lemon, along with several Black Lives Matter organizations, the Racial Justice Network, and many individual names. It’s basically a confession neatly wrapped in a bow for the Justice Department to go forward with. It’s unwise, but let her cook.
You can understand why these people act without fear of any consequences and flaunt their alleged crimes. For years, Minnesota has allowed these activists to corrupt, break the law and terrorize ordinary people, with the George Floyd riots in 2020 being the most glaring example. Armstrong and her colleagues may have thought they would not be the subject of any federal investigation or potential charges. I thought wrong, though.
The Department of Justice should not wait for Minnesota officials to continue to hesitate in the face of these almost certainly illegal assaults. Prosecute these activists with the full force of the law while there is still a chance.
