Is it the end for Ryan Murphy?

The producer of many wild TV series may have finally hit bottom with a new show called “All’s Fair.”

So far, critics on Rotten Tomatoes have given it a zero.

Are we surprised? Kim Kardashian is the star. The Hollywood Reporter describes her as “cruel and unaffected without any real observation.”

Kim plays the owner of an all-female law firm in Los Angeles.

The other lawyers are A-list actresses like Glenn Close, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash. Sarah Paulson, also a regular at Murphy’s, is the actress who had to find out from Kardashian — in real life, while applying makeup — that the 1969 Apollo moon shot was fake. Paulson’s reaction was better than anything in the series.

But you can only cover up the chaos with a lot of gilding. Kardashian isn’t an actress, she’s a social climbing celebrity whose entire career has been built on slapstick.

So this is it.

For Hulu, “All’s Fair” represents a sharp drop in quality. They produce Emmy Award-nominated shows like “Only Murders in the Building” and “The Bear.”

Hulu is part of Disney, like FX, where Ryan Murphy’s shows typically air. They include things like American Horror Story, which also has preposterous premises and A-list actors. Kardashian was already in one of those.

The Times of London said: “It thinks it’s a feminist tale about lusty lawyers who reclaim ruthless rich men, but it’s actually a vulgar and disgusting monument to the same avarice, vanity and avarice it is supposed to target.”

UK Daily Telegraph: “Ryan Murphy is the high priest of tasteless, vulgar television, and this year he has outdone himself with a display of startling horror that is sure to give nightmares to the unsuspecting viewer.”

I guess you can only get away with these things for so long.
