The House of Representatives eliminates the last day of votes before the summer vacation, as Epstein Capitol Hill consumes

The Republican Party, the last week of its work before the summer vacation, is cut off from a fight against the Capitol Hill about the issuance of government files in the late financier and the sexual perpetrator, Jeffrey Epstein.

The House of Representatives was scheduled to get votes on Thursday before the legislators left for a five -week holiday.

But the Republican leaders informed the legislators in the ranking and the file on Tuesday that the final vote for this week will now be one day before Wednesday afternoon. The shift in the timetable occurred due to the confrontation with the rules committee, which decides how the legislation comes to the ground but stopped the Ibstein case.

The committee, which is closely consistent with Mike Johnson, AR, usually passes. However, the Democrats promised to compel the committee to obtain more votes on whether the Trump administration should be required to issue all the remaining files from the Ibstin case.

To avoid embarrassing voices on Epstein, the Republicans decided to rest the committee and not to try to pass a law on laws this week. Without a base, Republicans will not leave anything to vote after Wednesday.

The Epstein epic took control of the gossip on the Capitol Hill for more than a week, as many of Trump’s supporters photographed all the documents related to the convict and the president and his management sought to reduce this issue.

It seems that the matter has died in recent days, but the Trump administration has breathed a new life in the story on Tuesday morning, when the Ministry of Justice announced that the Deputy Prosecutor would like Blanche will meet with Epstein, the colleague of Gislin Maxwell in the coming days.

How can re -divide the circles change the battle for the majority of the House of Representatives

Written by Steve Cornki

In the coming weeks, the Republicans in Texas and Ouhyu are expected to return the maps of their countries in Congress. Their intention is transparent: to support their party’s opportunities to protect the majority of its house in the renewal elections next year.

As now, there are 220 Republican regions, which means that the party can bear a net loss that does not exceed two seats in 2026 and still retains home. In theory, the voltage of re -dividing the circles can turn as far as Eight seats From democracy to the column of the Republican Party, although the ultimate return will depend on the aggression of the Republican Party – how much courts and voters will tolerate.

It can also be compensated for similar measures from Democrats in blue states such as California, where the governor of the state, Gavin New Desm, wants to re -draw it, but he is facing a A much more difficult process.

However, even if the Republicans come out of a new round of re -dividing the circles with a group of new and safe seats, it may still not sufficient to keep the house, given the exciting losses that the party in the White House often in the mid -time elections. During the first Trump presidency, the Republican Party counted the net 40 home seats in the middle of the period 2018, and easily lost control of the room.

But the current Republican majority structure is very different from what it was in the year 18. It is much fewer than the Republican Party seats in areas that are political hostile to Trump and a much larger share in the terrestrial collapse of Trump politically safe. There are not many occupants of the marginal Republican Party occupations in the areas that Trump only held in the recent presidential elections.

If it succeeds, the batch of re -dividing the circles will be a big difference in 2018: Republicans will give more opportunities to play the attack this time.
