Sophie expanded her commitment to children’s welfare by becoming a sponsor of Plan International UK

The Duchess of Edinburgh arrived in Brussels for a two -day visit to treat sexual exploitation in children and abuse.

Sophie represents her role as NSPCC and Plan International UK, and she participates in discussions and initiatives aimed at protecting children over the Internet and inside societies.

During her visit, she delivered a major speech focusing on the devastating effect of children’s exploitation and abuse, followed by a discussion in discussion that explores global strategies to combat these crimes.
