After processing the best party games on Switch in 2024, the latest version of Emio – The Smilia Man: Famicom Detective Club was amazing and prompted me to write about what I consider the best visual novels and adventure games to switch now. Both were included because some games are pure visual novels while some adventure games (not visual novels). This list contains a few games from all over the regions and years of release, and I hope you will find something that ends up with his love here. As usual, this list is not in a specific order.
Emio-The Smilt Man: Famicom Detective Club ($ 49.99)
When Nintendo does not reshape the Famicom Detective Club games in 2021, I couldn’t believe it. It was amazing adventure games, and my only complaint was the lack of physical release at the time. It rapidly advanced to 2024 and released Nintendo Emio-The Smilt Man: Famicom Detective Club physically and digitally as a completely new entry into the chain, and has been played. It doesn’t seem just inserting a real chain that may be negative for some, but this may be one of the most luxurious products that I saw in a game like this at all. I don’t want to enter the spoilers, but the end is shocked and shocked as it justifies its classification. I certainly did not expect to have the Famicom Detective Club in 2024 in the list of my best games, but Nintendo managed to do this with Emio – The Smilt Man: Famicom Detective Club. If you prefer to play the first two games before Emio, get the Famicom Detective Club: The Case-two. If you are well with some old school design and play for adventure, you will love them.
VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Chelsea Labor ($ 14.99)
If you are reading the few “Best switch games” lists that I was doing this year, you have seen me being exposed to the VA-11 Hall-A: Action Cyberpunk the waiter twice before, but as you know, I will not move an opportunity to write about one of my favorite players in all times. After playing it several times over the years on each system, it also feels at home on Switch, a game that is literally recommended to everyone. I don’t care if you like Point and click Adventure games or not. Go ahead, mix drinks, then change some lives.
The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants Edition ($ 39.99)
The House in Fata Morgana: Dreams of the Revenants Edition is the final edition of one of my favorite fictions in any means. It includes the original game and much more to present an amazing version of a masterpiece in telling stories. This novel is pure visual, and I am happy because after its many versions, I found a lot of success on Switch, where it plays better. If you want to play something that will stay with you for a long time, this Gothic horror experience will do a lot. It also happens to have some of the most incredible music.
Coffee Talk 1 + 2 ($ 12.99 + $ 14.99)
Well, this game is cheating because the games are sold separately on ESHOP and the physical versions that you imported from Japan as well, but given the presence of a set of games sold in North America on Switch, you included both Coffee Talk games as one entry here. I love them both, and while they did not reach the same highlands as the VA-11 Hall-A, Coffee Talk was completely shining what I wanted from a game in the cafe, and presented a very comfortable experience with a great story. If you enjoy coffee and listen to interesting people with the wonderful pixels and music, this is suitable for you.
Type’s Moon visible novels: Tsukihimi, Fate/Establishment Night, and Mahoyo (variable)
This is another entry where I cheat. I was not sure whether I wanted to include Tsukihime only or Witch on the Holy Night (Mahoyo), but then made the latest version of Fate/Stay Night Remasted more difficult things. Instead of anxiety too much, I included the three basic visual aheads in this article on Switch. They are all very long but very good. If you want to take samples from a classic visual novel, move with Fate/Stay Night, but I recommend to reshape TSUKIHIME in switching to everyone. Witch on the Holy Night is likely to be the game that you play after these in quality.
Paranormasight: Seven Honjo Secrets ($ 19.99)
Square Square Enix’s Paranormasight: Honjo’s seven secrets reminds me of Iow Nintendo in a way that I was surprised even, not to mention this good. I went to any expectations, but it was detonated by the narration, connecting it, and even some broken the walls that I enjoyed a little early. Square Enix has released one of the best mysterious adventure games that you played with amazing characters, great art and interesting mechanics here, and deserves your time if you want a wonderful new horror game.
Gnosia ($ 24.99)
People call Gnosia to RPG Sci-Fi, but it is more than an adventure and a hybrid visual novel for me. Your goal here is to determine the Gnosia between a group using the information you collect and then vote to put Gnosia in cold sleep. You and your crew are both improving over time, and neglected some RNG problems to get two specific results, Gnosia was a great experience. I liked so much to switch to the extent that I bought the material version on both SWICH and PS5 as well as getting it on Steam. This may not be for everyone, but it is still one of the most beautiful surprises in this type.
Steins; Gate Series (variable)
Spike Chunsoft Switch versions are from Steins; Series Series, especially Steins; Gate Elite, important like Night/Stay Night when it comes to presenting new arrivals of visual novels to this type. Although I still hope the publisher will bring the original version of Steins; Gate, Steins; Gate Elite is an easy recommendation for those who watch anime and want to enter into a wonderful visual novel. Steins games must play; Gate only after trying the original story in Steins; Gate Elite. I was also deceived here by including multiple games, but my list is my rules.
Amnesty International: Somnium and Nirvana files (variable)
Amnesty International: The Somnium Files and Nirvana initiative brought the Zero Escape Kotaro Uchikoshi facility and the character designer of Yusuki Kozaki is no longer together for an incredible group of adventure games that feel very good so that it is not real when it comes to the budget that is delivered to the story, and music , And characters. I liked this one enough to order Switch Limited Edition from Japan, and I am happy that I did that. unforgettable.
Ace Attorney series (variable)
Capcom has now brought the entire ACE ATTORNEY series to switch with the Phoenix Wright Ace (1,2,3) attorney (1,2,3), Trilogy Apollo Justice (4,5,6), ACE Great Attorney Chronicles (1+2 of these), ACE investigation games Attorney this week. I would like to say that there are no excuses now, but this adventure game series is loved for some reason and has been born a fan base that has lasted for years since DS appeared in the West. If you are new in this series, I recommend the great ACE lawyer as the best entry point even higher than the original trilogy that looks dated in ways. Either way, you can now play the entire chain on one of your reach, and I love it.
Soul hunter: the sign of death, a nanger, and the death of Mark II (variable)
Another series instead of one game? Yes. The Aksys Games and Experience’s Inc’s Inc trilogy has become completely available on Switch, and it was able to mix the horror adventure and visual novels with one of the most striking artistic methods that I saw at all. It is somewhat difficult to recommend this series in view of the magnificence of some designs, but I don’t think I will never forget some of the pictures that I saw while playing Spirit Hunter games with their localization and excellent stories. I hope to see a new entry in the next few years.
13 Guard: Aegis RIM ($ 59.99)
13 Sentinels: Aegis RIM is not a pure adventure game, but it contains strategic battles in actual time. Usually I try to include a great game in the end, dual beating for not being a full adventure game and also being one of the best games that I played a decade ago, made me finish this feature on Vanillawari and ATLUS ‘Sci-Fi MasterPiece 13: Aegis RIM. I played this for the first time on the PS4 and enjoyed restarting it from start to finish on Switch thanks to the OLED screen in the mobile mode. Regardless of where you play, you need to try 13 guards: Aegis RIM.
If you reach this extent, you realized that this is not better 10 but more, and the games are those that I recommend playing at a full price. I did not want to cut something that I love so much to reach an arbitrary number of games received and that is why I included some full series here instead of just individual games.
