
Robert, Steve Irwin’s son, is currently making headlines for his amazing performance in… Dancing with the starsHe recently recounted his memories with his late father.
Irwin revealed that his “memories of my father are very blurry and distant” because his father died when he was two years old.
According to the 21-year-old, Steve left the world with the hope that his children would continue the legacy he created.

the DWTS The star said that his father said this years before his death. For him, witnessing that day is a gift.
“So, for me when I watch it, it’s like he gave me this gift, it’s there, it’s physical, it’s written,” Robert said.
His voice became shaky when he talked about his father, who was known as an Australian zookeeper and conservationist.
“I watch him look through the camera and say to me, ‘I won’t always be here, but I’m creating something that you can continue to do, and this is what I want you to do,’” Irwin says.
“This is where I am now and I feel so proud of it,” Robert says during his breakdown.
Steve died in 2006 at the age of 44 after a stingray pierced his chest while filming on the Great Barrier Reef with Philippe Cousteau Jr.
