More than 2000 curious visitors from Nioport News and the Hampton Rhodes region in Virginia flocked to the University of Christopher Nioport (CNU) on May 31, 2025 for the annual community day (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), and NASA eclipse A team from the Center for the National Space Institute for Tamil for Alawite Education (NIA-CISE) has confirmed that each of them left their eyes-imagination-at the sun.
At the heart of NASA, the Ambassadors of NIA STEM – a team of carefully chosen high school students from the Tidewateer area in Virginia who underwent intense training with Eclips teachers in NASA during the summer of 2024. These bright young leaders are excited to communicate with scientific societies. STEM’s Ambassador’s Ambassador’s program has become possible through the Virginia Coastal Grant of the General Assembly in Virginia and has already impact.
Throughout the day, the educated ambassadors of all ages have been involved with two creative experiences connected to gtrus and arts:
- Chaalk Corona- Using a vibrant black building paper and vibrant chalk, the participants re-created “Corona”-the hot and visual gas crown during the total solar eclipse. While they were shadow and stained, the ambassadors explained the reason for the importance of research in the field of solar research and the delivery of accredited solar energy viewers in order to see safe to participate in the homeland.
- Auroras Pastel Visitors also discovered how the solar wind, storms, and the ejaculation of the coronary mass (also known as Sun “sneezing”) dazzled the Earth’s impressive. The ambassadors are guided by pastels emerging artists to capture swirls of light, and tie Aurora scenes in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in actual time.
Throughout the day, the energy of the ambassadors was infectious, as it turned into complex helicopters into practical pleasure and open eyes to the opportunities and professions awaiting STEM. If we judge through smiles – chalk dust and pastel – the presence of Nasa Eclips was completely literal, “coronation” on an unforgettable societal celebration.
The NASA ECLIPS project provides teachers ’videos, activities and lessons based on standards and lessons to increase the literacy of STEM through NASA. It is supported by NASA under Cooperative Agreement No. NNX16Ab91A, which is part of NASA’s science stimulation portfolio.
