Apple surprised iPad users earlier this year when it was removed, mode the floating mini window that was part of iPados since iOS 9, and replaced it with a more desktop -like window interface that allows you to change the size and transfer of application applications freely.
Change appears to have disturbed some IPAD users who loved simple multiple tasks. If you are one of them, we have some good news: through iPados 26.1 Beta 2, I brought Apple quietly back, although in a slightly different form.
How the new slide works
The latest beta of iPados 26.1 adds a slide on the back. Users will find it by clicking on the Green Size Change button and keeping it in the upper left corner of any application window. In addition to the current options to move and change their size, there is now a “slice more” button.
Once applied to the sliding, it behaves in the same way as before. The window floats on other applications instead of sitting in a divided width. This time, Apple also allows users to change the volume of applications in the new slide, and they can move a miniature window around the screen by withdrawing.
Change mainly combines the new multi -task flexibility for iPados 26 with the convenience of sliding for rapid access applications such as messages or music.
Why do it matter
The great advantage of slipping is that the window always remains at the forefront, regardless of the number of other applications that are opened. This is great when you need access to information in a specific application during multiple tasks.
Many iPad users, especially those who keep a second on -hand application for fast tasks, are missing when they disappeared in iPados 26. Returning to Apple listens to notes from laboratories who found the new Windowing system less suitable for multiple multiple.
Availability
Currently, iPados 26.1 Beta 2 is available except for developers – and it must be released within a day or two for the general experimental version. Apple iPados 26.1 is expected to be released to the general public later this month.
