
Sabrina Carpenter is celebrating a major musical milestone.
the Espresso Hitmaker’s latest album Man’s best friend It has been officially certified platinum by the RIAA, the Recording Industry Association of America.
The seventh album has sold or streamed the equivalent of one million units in the United States in just three months since its release.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, November 13, the Grammy winner announced the news and celebrated with her fans.
“What in the world. Man’s best friend It just went platinum [two black heart emoji]”, she wrote in the caption. “Thank you for listening to this album. I love you guys so much.”
The short and sweet message was accompanied by the controversial album cover that featured the famous RIAA platinum plaque that artists receive to commemorate the achievement.
Fans were quick to congratulate Please please please Top of the chart, with one writing, “Worth it!! I didn’t realize she got that degree so quickly, that’s crazy for one person.”
“Honestly, I think it’s one of her best songs in terms of production,” another gushed.
“Incredibly proud,” a third commented, followed by a fourth who said: “We knew this was going to happen from the first listen.” [blue heart emoji] congratulations.”
Carpenter, 26, hits her latest milestone as she nears the end of her fifth concert tour and first major arena tour.
The Short n’ Sweet tour launched in late September, and is scheduled to conclude after six more shows in multiple cities.
