Sabrina Carpenter spoke about her experience working with Taylor Swift during the show Tour of the ages.
In one of Swift’s episodes End of an era Docuseries on Disney+, Carpenter was shown rehearsing her performance for a mix of Espresso, is it over now? and Please please please.
In the clip from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in October 2024, Carpenter admitted, “Well, I felt like a really big idiot, because the first time she sent me the first copy, which was so genius, the ‘Ready Coffee’ line that actually goes with ‘Espresso’ wasn’t addressed until I was literally in the car on the way here.”
She went on to add: “I was like, ‘She’s so smart.’” But yeah, that was a big blonde moment for me. “It took me a day.”
Taylor Swift, on the other hand, gushed about Sabrina Carpenter about her hit albums, saying, “Sabrina is like a shooting star. She’s so smart, and she knows exactly how to entertain people the way they want to, in the moment.”
“It’s just like she’s been fighting for the No. 1 spot on the charts all summer,” Swift said.
It’s worth noting alongside Swift’s record-breaking opening performances Tour of the ages Carpenter also appears on the title track of the singer’s latest album, The life of a showgirl.
