
Ryan Reynolds has weathered his wife Blake Lively’s ongoing legal drama with It Ends with us Director and co-star Justin Baldoni.

Despite widespread speculation and their early involvement in the scandal, sources confirm that neither Reynolds nor Taylor Swift, a close friend of Lively, have been questioned as part of the case.
But others were not so lucky. Author Colleen Hoover, whose best-selling novel inspired this adaptation, recently sat down to hear her testimony. Costars Jenny Slate and Isabella Ferrer were also questioned over the summer, along with Lively herself and members of her professional circle, including publicist Leslie Sloan, agent Warren Zavala, and makeup artist Vivian Baker.
Baldoni and several members of his team — including producer Jimmy Heath, publicist Jennifer Appel, crisis manager Melissa Nathan, and billionaire Steve Sarewitz — were also isolated. His former agent, Danny Greenberg, attracted attention for describing Lively’s “blackmail-like behavior” during filming, although he later clarified that the term was not intended in a criminal sense.
The case stems from a complaint Lively filed in December 2024, accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation during production, allegations he denies. Baldoni later sued Lively and Reynolds for defamation and extortion, but a judge dismissed the allegations in June.
Discovery closed on October 10, with the next hearing scheduled for December 16 and trial expected in March 2026.
