Running backwards

Moiao Odebunmi, a young man running in Cleveland Hi and a citizen of Nigeria who have not played football until this season, adapts to the speed of the game.

On Thursday night against Arleta, his first three campaigns in landing operations resulted from 68, 85 and 59 yards. He also got a decline and the return of 99 yards in the Cleveland 70-37 victory. End with 303 rushing.

Odebunmi, 5 feet and 155 lbs, did not play football as a new student, and came out last season and learned the game on Junior Varsity. Now coach Mario Joseman cannot find enough spots to use.

“We have made it all over the field,” said Joseman. “It is just a sports that we must face there.”

Another major shareholder in Cleveland was the soccer athlete Samil Ceretos, who was 10 years old on Bats.
