
Strange things The documentary’s director shut down the claim that the series’ creators, Ross and Matt Duffer, used artificial intelligence to write the final installment.
When the documentary Final Adventure: Making Stranger Things 5 ChatGPT made its debut on Netflix, and many fans claimed to have seen ChatGPT open on PC.
As Ross and Matt revealed how they organized their ideas for the final installment of the hit series, the documentary showed a Google Doc open on their laptops.
Now, director Martina Redouane has denied all speculation and allegations regarding the use of artificial intelligence.
“I mean, are we sure they have ChatGPT open?” Martina said THR Wednesday.
The director also told the outlet that it was “impossible” to use an AI tool to write such a complex show with so many characters and stories.
“Well, there’s a lot of gossip there [social media users] “We don’t really know, but we’re assuming,” Martina said. “But for me, isn’t it open for everyone to do a quick search?”
“How can you write a 19-character story and use ChatGPT, I don’t even understand,” she continued.
Martina added that she had “never witnessed unethical use of generative AI in the writers’ room.”
“Again, first of all, no one had actually proven that it was open,” she said.
For those unaware, the Final Adventure: Making Stranger Things 5 The documentary was released on Netflix on Monday, January 12.
