“We were about to leave our homes to meet the bus on Friday when they decided to postpone it until Saturday,” said the rebel captain, Brina and Westerman. “Everyone had their bags packed. It was disappointing because we all had passed, ready to go, and we were planning this day for a while.

“It was definitely the safest option. The roads were not safe to go out there, so we understood. I had succeeded.”
A storm in March with thick snowfall and frozen rain made driving unsafe on the highway in Saaskashuan, which preceded the weekend. So, the rebels reassembled on Saturday morning to ride the 200 -km bus, northwest along the 11th and 15th Highway for the afternoon match at Jim Kook Recixx from Outlook, where he lost the main ice falcons only once throughout the season.

This was the second season of SJFHL, which was created to give women an opportunity to continue to play competitive hockey after completing their high school and less than 18 years. Saskatoon Prairie Blaze, who ranked third this season and was won by Regina in the semi -finals champion, the referee champion.

Westerman, AST, Starla Mann and Zoe Kourles are graduating Regeina players. Westman said that the training may be in its future.
“I am very grateful because we play Junior and our pride that we won,” said Westerman. “It will be very cool (for training). I like to hold on to the team and I will definitely miss it. Training will be a great opportunity for me. It is a fun way to participate in the game again.”
