Reese Witherspoon recently made a heartbreaking confession about her career.

When Kelly asked, “Is it true that you wanted to be a country singer?”
Reese responded that she “really did” because as a kid she wanted to be a country music singer and that’s why she went to acting camps which is kind of funny from her perspective.
the American Idol The alum stated that “it was cool to have that dream when you’re a kid and then it didn’t seem to happen the way you thought it would, but then it ended up happening in a different way.”
Morning show The star agreed with Kelly’s thought, saying that she was keen on singing, dancing and acting, but her enthusiasm quickly stopped at the acting camp.
“They asked me to slow down and sing,” the 49-year-old recalls.
“I was put in the back at every dance show,” Reese said.
Interestingly, the camp counselors recognized her natural talent for acting at the age of 13 and encouraged her to focus on that more than singing.
How did you take the advice at that time? Kelly asked.
“I was good at something,” Reese replied, and that gave her motivation.
