Pierre Jasli emphasizes the F1 Mountains’ future

The Alpine F1 team and its driver, Pierre Gasly, signed the extension of a new contract that closes their partnership until the end of 2028. This announcement comes before the qualifying session for the Italian Grand Prize.

Gazley moved from Alphatauri (now the bulls of the race) to the Alps in 2023, which represents the beginning of a new chapter with a team that has been overcome since then many challenges, including driving reform and relapses related to his F1, which is said to be a lack of power.

The current contract of Gasly was appointed at the end of 2026, the year in which F1 enters a new era of regulations. However, it seemed that both sides were keen to extend their relationship. Announcing the extension of the contract, the team I mentioned:

“The deal again confirms Pierre’s commitment to the University of Alpine, and I believe Albin in Pierre, as the driver, to lead the team in the new organization in the year 2026 and beyond, under the leadership of Flavio Bricor and the full support of the Renault Group led by the new CEO Francois Provember.”
