I laughed loudly when I recently encountered one of my reflections from the graduate school, which led me to think about my future plans. Read, “I expect to continue working at the Wisconsin Natural Resources Corporation for a few years, then move to another job in preserving wildlife.” It was 10 years ago. As they say, the time is flying when you enjoy!
I arrived at my career teacher for 10 years this year. I am incredibly grateful to spend the last decade of my life in NRF, as I managed to build my dreams’ function. As the director of memorization, I get my knowledge, experience and skills groups well. I work with an incredible group of colleagues, enthusiastic and talented partners, and has a positive impact on our natural world. I lead the financing programs and initiatives that support our mission in protecting the lands of Wisconsin, water and wilderness and participate in various societies in conservation. My job is different every day. Some days, I am lucky to be in this field to visit one of my project sites or attend a NRF field trip. In other days, I facilitate meetings with our partners in memorizing, design projects, or communicate with our memorization efforts.
