Nicole Kidman recalls her beloved parents on a day that bears deep importance.
the Small small lies Star moved to Instagram on Wednesday, March 12th, to honor her late mother, Janil Ann, as it could be her birthday.
“She lost a lot and Papa a lot, as her birthday could be today,” wrote Kidman, 57, along with an impressive, and an impressive image of her parents, Janel and Anthony, who appears to be the kitchen environment.
Kidman’s father, Anthony, died in 2014 at the age of 75 after suffering from a fall in a hotel in Singapore. It was later confirmed that he died due to a heart attack.
After a decade, in September 2024, Kidman’s mother also died at the age of 84. The news came while the actress was attending the Venice International Film Festival, as she had to leave early to be with her family.
Despite her sudden departure, Kidman won the Best Actress Award for her Performance Babygirl. The director of the film, Halina Regin, accepted the award on her behalf and participated in a heart statement from the sad actress.
“Today I arrived in Venice to discover a short time after that my courageous brave mother Janil Ann Kidman has just passed,” Regina read during the ceremony.
“I am in shock and I must go to my family, but this award is dedicated to it, formed me, led me and made me. I am very grateful to be able to say its name to you all through Halina, the collision of life and art breaks the heart, and my heart is broken.”
After the death of her mother, Kidman and her sister, Antonia Kidman, expressed her gratitude for the flow of love and support she received.
“My sister and I want our family to thank you for the flow of love and kindness that we felt this week,” Nicole wrote in a joint publication of social media with Antonia, 54.
“Every message we received from those who loved our mother’s mother means to us more than we will be able to express it. Thank you from our entire family for respecting our privacy and we take care of each other.”
Despite the departure of all of her parents, Kidman’s honor proves that their memory is still deeply proud.
