I’m getting rid of the results for Big kick News… Carolina and Cleveland get stops and will accept punts. Both had a chance to take the lead midway through the final quarter.

Panthers 20-20 Buccaneers 5:02, 4th quarter

Big 3rd and 12 are on their way to Tampa around midfield. Mayfield backs off, the offense comes in and they drop him. The Panthers win easily at the line of scrimmage. but!!! The Bucs didn’t get the shot so they went back to third-and-15. The Panthers would be devastated if Mayfield took the No. 1 spot now.

The Giants look good for their third win of the season. Patrick Mahomes turned out to be a huge loss for Kansas City.

Oh Cleveland, you’ve been doing really well. They settle for a boot after stalling in the red zone. It’s still positive, with only three points to go.

Bengalis show no mercy at all. Four touchdowns without a replay in this half now. Burrow has a streak and is 25/32 for 309 yards, four touchdowns and no picks.

Brown 17-23 Bills 12:01, 4th quarter

Cleveland moved into Buffalo territory with a huge 26-yard gain on a screen pass. They beat the pass rush perfectly while Trayvon Williams was running through the air.

Tampa settled the matter after Carolina forced a field goal attempt. They sacked Baker Mayfield for a nine-yard loss on third down.

There was still more than two minutes left in the third quarter and Cincy scored his third unanswered goal. Dolphins up the creek and stranded on shore. Call it off ref. Brown is the hat-trick champion!

Tampa is off to the races before Baker Mayfield takes the field after an impressive kick return takes them into Carolina territory and to their own 45-yard line. Keldon Johnson could have scored a score there. Still, top work.

The Cavs are fighting hard in this one. The tight end is Cleveland’s version of a push. It works as a cure. Game on!

Incredible, Bryce! He’s scrambling in the pocket and is so close to being sacked but just slows down and dives between defenders and then gets the pass to Ja’Tavion Sanders. Carolina regains the lead. It’s heating up.

amazing. Tetiroa McMillan makes a great catch down the sideline to move the Panthers into the red zone. He barely saw it coming as Young threw it well before turning but it still hung…for just 11 yards. Then Bryce Young steps forward in the scramble and moves the chains again. They’re only 10 yards away now.

It looks like Miami shut down not just their starting quarterback, but the entire team as they give up their second touchdown to start the third quarter. Chase Brown is having a field day there as he doubles his touchdown tally.

The money badger strikes again. Buffalo settles for the boot after another pick from Shedeur Sanders. The rookie QB started out well with a score but is now 12/18 for 109 yards, one score, and two interceptions.

The Giants are playing themselves out of the No. 1 pick and rookie QB Cam Ward will likely be very happy about that.

And they do it on the next play. Sean Tucker enters untouched to left field. Carolina fans boo referees over PI call.

Another third down for the Bucs in the red zone as Mayfield steps back and finds Rachaad White wide open in the middle of the field. He rushes to the one-yard line. Mayfield goes back to teammate Mike Evans in man coverage but the receiver can’t pull him down. They faked a handoff and took down Evans again but pass interference was called. Back to first down with one yard remaining. They will score eventually.

Cini extends his lead with a 3-minute drive from good field position.

Panthers 13-10 Buccaneers 9:13, 3rd quarter

Bucky Irving keeps the chains moving with a solid short range. Mayfield throws a short ball that picks up a few yards and Irving takes them to 3rd and 4. And Mayfield hits Chris Godwin right down the sideline for another touchdown. Systematic and easy to do.

Baker Mayfield came out puffy when he took a 23-yard touchdown run to put the Bucs across midfield and on the 35-yard line.

Buffalo is forced to punt after a quick three and out. Come on Cleveland let’s get off to a fast start and put some pressure on the Bills.

Los Angeles is in the red zone. Meanwhile, Dak Prescott tries to get the crowd going to distract the Chargers. It may have worked when Justin Herbert was sacked as he hit the nose and they had to settle for a field goal. A bit disappointing after such a long gain.

Cowboys 17-21 Chargers 13:26, 3rd quarter

And I was just enjoying my vacation. I didn’t quite lift my feet though fortunately. They’re back there in Dallas with Los Angeles on the ball. And oh my! Justin Herbert steps back and sails one into the arms of Quentin Johnston down the sideline for a 50-yard gain. He has an absolute cannon for the arm. The Cowboys secondary had nothing there.

The Buffaloes are destroying Cleveland On the floor. They have 16 total carries for 133 yards at an average of 8.3 yards per pop. James Cook has 100 of them on nine carries and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Josh Allen threw the ball just seven times.

In a massive presence of books, all of our games are actually being shown for half the time at the same time. The Panthers are the big story so far as they dominate at the whistle. Tampa Bay started strong but fell off a cliff. The pressure is on Carolina to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. They are dealing with it so far.
