NASA invites the media to display the ARTEMIS II Orion transformer in Marshall

The media is called to the Marshall Space Center in NASA in Huntville, Alabama, at 2 pm CDT Thursday, August 14th to watch The last part of the agency’s space flight devices SLS (space launch system) a ARTEMIS II missile before delivering it to the NASA Kennedy Center in Florida. All other elements of the SLS SLS missile for ARTEMIS II are stacked on the 1st mobile phone launcher in Kennedy’s vehicle assembly building. Artemis II, the first NASA mission with a crew on the Rockket Rockket and Orion Spacecraft, is currently scheduled for a 10 -day trip around the moon no later than April 2026.

The Orion transformer, designed by NASA Marshall, connects the missile payment phase of the missile to NASA’s Aurion spacecraft. The small ring structure is the top of the SLS missile. The adapter will also carry a small load, called Cubesats, to deep space.

The media will have the opportunity to take pictures and videos and speak to the topic experts. Besides the ARTEMIS II transformer, the media will be able to see an ORTIMis III task, the first landing in the moon in the southern pole of the moon.

This event is open to the American media, which must be confirmed by 12 pm on Wednesday, August 13, with Jonathan a deal at the Marshall Communications Office at Jonathan.e.deal@nasa.gov. The media should also report at 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 14, to Redstone Arsenal Coint Coint Control Center Gate 9 Starks 9, located at Interstate 565 Interchang at Boulevard Research Park, which is accompanying the event.

Through Artemis, NASA will send astronauts to explore the moon for scientific discovery, economic benefits, and to build the foundation of the tasks that were created to Mars.
