Mikaela Mayer kept the global WBO title for her weight in Las Vegas, overcoming the British Sandy Ryan with a unanimous decision to settle their bitter competitor.
The American overcame pieces over the eye and Ryan in the subsequent rounds, and won the ranks of the referees 97-93, 97-93 and 98-92. After winning, Mayer targeted a troop to unify the title with another Britain, Lauren Price.
“It is now time for me to move forward and go undisputedly,” said Mayer, who put a possible winning battle against Price. The Welsh fighter added WBC and IBF titles to the WBA crown, which it has already achieved by beating Natasha Jonas in Royal Albert Hall in London on March 7.
WBO was the WBO game on Saturday, a match match after Mayer Al -Taj took from Ryan in New York in September 2024. That competition rose when Ryan was sprayed from Derby with a red paint outside her hotel in what she described as the “Hit and Run” attack.
Before the return match, Mayer denied any involvement in the accident. “Everyone who knows me, knows this will be out of the character for me-is not my style,” 34 years old BBC Sport said. “You can not only direct a finger when there is no guide to return to.”
After the start of even in Vigas, Mayer fell with a number of solid shots to take over the fighting. Ryan fought on her way of admiration, and she continued with some strong punches, as she left Mayer with blood from Saddam from the heads. By that time, though, the hero was very advanced on the referees cards that should be rejected.

“I thought it was soon. I thought I was doing well at first and then faced a battle,” Mayer said after her second victory over Ryan. “I and I only put the new tape on what competitive battles should look like.”
