Matthew Perry’s parents said his doctor was “among those most culpable” in their son’s death after he died of a drug overdose.

Instead, it was Matthew’s addiction and the people he trusted, with Plascencia – who admitted injecting the actor with ketamine and selling the drug “without a legitimate medical purpose” before his death, describing the doctor as “among the worst offenders of all”.
They wrote: “His story touched so many people. He wanted, needed, and deserved… a third act. He was… in the planning. And then, those jackals.”
The family’s letter said: “No person alive and ever in touch with the world could be unaware of Matthew’s struggles. But this doctor conspired to break his most important promises, and repeatedly crept through the night to meet his victim in secret.”
“For what, a few thousand dollars? So he can feed on our son’s weakness… and as he does so, exclaims this revealing question: ‘I wonder how much this idiot will pay.’ Let’s find out.” Some things are very difficult to understand, she concluded.
