Senator Kennedy delivers a brutal swipe at Chuck Schumer’s manhood, calling AOC the only one who can do that

Senator Kennedy still holds out hope that socialist radicals are still just a fringe of the Democratic Party, although on this note he is perhaps a bit naive, something he acknowledges is a possibility.

Keep trying, ladies and gentlemen of the resistance. It’s only been a decade now. Maybe one day you’ll find something that sticks with you.

EU Parliament cuts environmental, social and governance rules

This is a big win, although it will likely go unnoticed by most people, because it has more to do with corporate culture than how companies build and sell products.

Tucker Carlson deeply apologizes to Liz Cheney

Carlson’s comments about Cheney came after he said the former vice president raised a “disgusting daughter.” The former Fox News personality has never hidden his distaste for Liz Cheney, previously calling her a “neocon warmonger” and a “liar.”

Morning meditations

There has been a lot of buzz around Zahran Mamdani, both during his candidacy and now that he is New York City’s mayor-elect. His socialist/communist policy proposals are getting a lot of ire among activists/professionals on the left, and as I recently noticed, the progressive wing of the Democratic Party seems to be holding all the energy at the moment.

Regardless of some of the questions swirling around his election, Mamdani is the flavor of the month, and I think it’s a safe bet that we’ll see a slew of young Mamdani — or Mamdani aspirants — emerging, especially in local and statewide elections.

We saw this with Omar Fateh in Minneapolis, although his campaign to become mayor of that city did not see the same success as Mamdani’s campaign. But Seattle’s new mayor-elect, Katie Wilson, appears to be cut from the same cloth.

Another one is dusting off: Now Seattle has a Democratic socialist mayor, like Mayor Mamdani

No doubt others will see their successes and try to model themselves accordingly. So get ready, people – especially those living in the blue enclaves – the Mamdani march begins now.
