Macaulay Culkin reveals that he uses this word in his home for one main reason

Macaulay Culkin recently got candid and revealed that he wanted to be appreciated by his parents while growing up.

Expressing his thoughts in a new episode of legendary cuisine, The 45-year-old American actor and musician spoke about his “fractured” relationship with his parents, especially his father Kit Culkin, the famous stage actor.

Macaulay said his parents rarely told him they were proud of him even though he longed for appreciation from them. However, now that he’s a father, he’s making sure he does the opposite with his kids, sons 4-year-old Dakota and 3-year-old Carson, whom he shares with fiancée Brenda Song.

My kid, he’s doing his concert, and the curtain comes up, and he’s so excited about it — he’s going to play a bug… and as soon as the curtain opens, he freezes and cries, and runs out of the theater.”

“So I went and picked it up. And the first thing out of my mouth was, ‘Man, I’m so proud of you. You were so brave to go out there like that,'” he explained.

Notably, Macaulay continued to admit that he took pride in his ability to provide for his family. “I provide for my family this way, and I can love my family the right way.”
