Lou Cannon, the Washington Post reporter who became the leading biographer of Ronald Reagan, chronicling the former actor’s election as governor of California, his long quest for the presidency and two terms in the White House, died Dec. 19 at a nursing facility in Santa Barbara, California. He was 92 years old.
