On Saturday night, October 18, during a stop of her Ultrasound World Tour at the Kia Forum, Los Angeles, Lorde implored the audience, “Can I trust you?”
Then the twist came when royal family The singer, in the center of the 18,000-capacity B-stage, pulled out a Sharpie and wrote the single word “Girl” on the palm of her hand.
As her hand was displayed on the giant screens, the crowd immediately exploded in realization of what was coming next.
Snippets of Charlie began to flash on the screen, and it appeared brat The hitmaker emerged from the back of the venue, pacing the floor as she launched into the song’s opening verse, a direct reflection of the complexities of female friendship.
Meanwhile, Lorde, 28, danced, swung and jumped under the lights. She later joined in her own verse of the remix, which went viral during the naughty green summer of 2024.
The audience sings along, feeding off the duo’s energy with every song and movement. The two pop singers closed the show side by side, dancing and laughing in a wave of pure joy.
For the uninitiated, the iconic pair previously performed brat Remixed during Charli and Troye Sivan’s Sweat Tour stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden last September, as well as during Charli’s Coachella show in April.
