
Lily Allen’s heartbreaking divorce from David Harbour appears to have permanently changed her perspective on love.
The 40-year-old actress and singer, who has just released her breakup confessional album, West End GirlShe talked about the process of grieving a relationship that ended and starting over in a new interview.
the Dallas Major The Hitmaker spoke about her difficulties in putting herself in the dating group with her Interview magazinerevealing that dating apps have been nothing but “terrible” for her as a celebrity.
“I’m not really looking to go out with another famous person,” Allen admitted, adding that even if she did go on “dates with other people, there are some obstacles.”

“There’s nothing more frustrating than hundreds of people who don’t look like the person you’re missing,” she said. “It’s just like, ‘No, that’s not him.’ That’s not it. That’s not it”.”
Allen went on to share the misunderstanding that led to her being “banned from Hinge.” She explained that the app blocked her for impersonating herself, and added: “I thought to myself: ‘I can prove that I am that person.’ They are like, ‘You will need to send us your ID.’ And I said to myself: ‘Actually, my name and the name on my ID are not the same.’”
The mother of two confirmed that she is “not in a relationship” at the moment, although “there are some people I am seeing.”
Allen and her estranged husband took vows in 2020 after being together for a year, but split last December following Harbor’s alleged affair, which she alluded to on the album.
