King Charles issued an emotional statement to express his grief over the tragic earthquake that struck Myanmar.
A personal message from the monarch was released on the official Instagram for the royal family, in which he sent the deepest sympathy for the affected people.
The king wrote, “For the people of Myanmar, and my wife and my wife were shocked and saddened by the devastating earthquake in Myanmar, with her tragic loss of life and horrific damage to homes, buildings and ways to live, not to mention the destruction of the Holy temple, neglect and other places of worship.”
