King Charles and Queen Camilla postponed their planned visit to the Vatican after the medical advice of Pope Francis to rest.
Buckingham stressed that, adding that its Majesty has extended their warm desires for the Pope for a speedy recovery and I hope to meet him as soon as it is fine.
For others, the Pope was recently unloaded from the hospital after a long battle with double pneumonia, which kept it more than a month ago.
Originally, the royal couple was scheduled to meet Pope Francis and attend a special service in the Sistine Church. However, these links have been suspended.
Despite the change in the plans, King Charles and Queen Camilla will continue to visit them to Italy.
They are expected to travel to Rome and Ravina in early April, when the king will meet with Italian Prime Minister Georgia and President Sergio Mattarella.
