Kate Hudson is considering turning down the role of Spider-Man.

Kate Hudson is opening up about a career decision she still has mixed feelings about.

appearing on Watch what happens live with Andy Cohenthe 46-year-old actress got candid about the missed opportunity that ultimately went to Kirsten Dunst.

“When people say these things, it’s not a good thing to talk about,” Hudson said. “The people in the movie are the right people, and your circumstances in life happen the way they do. But yeah, I said no to that.”

Hudson explained that her decision came as a result of choosing another project at the time. The four feathersIn which she starred opposite the late Heath Ledger.

“I met Heath Ledger, who became a very good friend,” Hudson said. “This experience could never have happened otherwise. Life happens exactly the way it’s meant to happen.”

Looking back, Hudson admitted that the Spider-Man opportunity still crosses her mind. “Now when I look back, one of the things I say is it was great to be in a Spider-Man movie.”

The role became a defining one for Dunst, who starred opposite Tobey Maguire in director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy from 2002 to 2007.

Meanwhile, Hudson will next appear in Song Song Blue Along with Hugh Jackman, who publicly praised her performance and suggested it might deserve an Oscar.
