Jennifer Aniston is very happy in her relationship with Jim Curtis, says an insider.
The Friends star is excited to spend quality time with her beau before the holiday season and is looking forward to decorating her home.
“Holidays are when [Aniston] “She is slowing down and really enjoying her home and spending time with the people she loves,” the source tells PEOPLE.
“She’s so happy to spend this time with Jim this year,” the insider added, explaining that Aniston “loves this time of year” and “always does her best at Christmas.”
“She has a real tree every year — never an artificial one,” the source continued. “She loves decorating her house to make it feel warm and festive.”
Earlier, a source told People magazine that the Morning Show actress and Curtis spent “months chatting and getting to know each other” at the beginning of the year.
“Jen really appreciated their friendship at the beginning of the year,” the insider said. “When everything turned into something more romantic, she was wary at first. Now, she’s excited that she decided to do it.”
The tipster added that it “sounds like Kismet” and that Aniston “really loves” Curtis. “He brought a lot of good things into her life,” the source adds.
The couple confirmed their relationship in November when they went Instagram official on Curtis’ 50th birthday.
Just days later, the lovebirds made their first appearance together at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood event, where Aniston called Curtis “very extraordinary” in an interview with the outlet.
“He is so special, so natural, so kind, and he wants to help people heal, and move from trauma and stagnation to clarity,” she said.
Although the couple are happy to go public with their relationship, Aniston’s cautious approach apparently came about because she had been subjected to intense media scrutiny during her previous high-profile relationships.
