Jason Momoa recently opened a life -threatening browsing experience that convinced him to give up smoking.
In an episode of Inactive Podcast, Momoa shared the horrific details of the accident, which occurred during the surfing in PE’ahi, also known as Jaws, in Maui.
the Akwan Star was browsing with friends to respond to Hamilton and Dave Calma when he picked up the waves of the waves, leaving the ways about one mile. The waves were enormous, reaching 10 feet, hitting a water of water, and eventually lost his pants.
He recalls, “He is very stormy for Maui, and so the painting has just gone. I couldn’t even see it.” “So I was stuck in this crazy spot, which is likely to be external coral reefs, and I was not known to me, I was really on external coral reefs, and I could not see me, I had my glory, and I was waving with it, and I could not see me. The waves were very large, I took my shorts mainly.”
While Momoa was struggling to stay on his feet, he thought about his family, especially his three -month -old daughter at that time. He eventually gave up hope, and felt that he would die.
However, he managed to seize a rock or perhaps a whale, which allowed him to show a short period and breathing. “I dig my feet in coral, I am literally in the middle of the ocean, and I just, I can barely put my lips on top of it to breathe and get a break, but I had already surrendered. So, it seems that you have already gave up and died and I have a second chance in that.”
the Last Ultimately, a Star friend saved him, but not before his feet were covered with blood from trying to stick to the coral. This painful experience had a profound impact on Momoa, especially with regard to smoking.
“I couldn’t stop my children, I couldn’t stop my ex -husband, and I couldn’t stop smoking,” he said. “The moment I came out, I never smoked again. She just died. She just died. I tried and tried, but I couldn’t do it again because I surrendered. Like, I gave up my life.”
