JoJo Siwa gave fans a hopeful update just days after revealing she had a ruptured ovarian cyst.
took to InstagramThe 21-year-old star thanked her supporters for their “well wishes and prayers,” noting that she had an “eventful weekend” following the traumatic medical emergency.
According to Mayo ClinicOvarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that can form on or inside the ovary, and when they rupture they may cause “serious symptoms.”
“I’m happy to say I’m a little better,” Siwa wrote.
“I’m not in the clear yet, but I’m feeling good and doing well!”
She added that she had a fever the night after her visit to the hospital, but she “slept and woke up fever-free, and ever since!”
The Dance Moms alumna said she “rests when I can” and “drinks a lot of electrolytes,” adding that the “beautiful circle of love and support” surrounding her has helped her heal.
